Vaginal vs. Clitoral Orgasms

Postby Esybron » Sat Nov 29, 2008 3:57 pm

The controversy continues to rage over the vaginal vs. the clitoral orgasms. The debate is a political football. Where do you stand? How do you feel and what do you experience? Let's hear from you on this issue.

Hey esybron, you asked so I'll offer my 2 cents. As women, we are always jerked around when it comes to our pleasure, not that they are really that interested in our gratification as long as we continue to offer it with no proviso for our climaxes. I really haven't noticed any difference in my orgasms between my clitoris and vagina during intercourse. My V isn't sensitive enough to give me a climax so I need some playing with my clit before I'll cum. The argument is stupid to me. Who cares how they O as long as they do? I know I don't. I think it is just another way to get us confused and enticed to seek out pleasure when none is forthcoming. :? A few of my friends say they have vaginal orgasms and that they feel different from clitoral types, but I sure can't find it. Maybe some others can enlighten me.

All orgasm is clitorally based. "Vaginal orgasm" is simply the clitoris being stimulated from the inside. There was a time (prior to Freud) when no on asked this question, it was a matter of common understanding the clitoris is what you stimulate for female orgasm. There is of course a VAST network of nerves connected to the clitoris so of course we feels pleasurable sensations and even can experience orgasm from other areas being stimulated, including our minds. Isn't it grand!?

My experience is almost identical to those of the two women, who responded above me. Whether it is masturbation or being penetrated by a man, my clit must be stimulated. Having my vagina satiated, whether by my partner's penis or a dildo when masturbating, creates an aura that my vagina was involved in triggering the orgasm, when in fact it wasn't. During masturbation I have tried a number of times to climax without clitoral stimulation and have never been successful. Even long sessions of breast foreplay, viewing sexually stimulating material and inserting the largest dildo I can accept will not cause me to reach an orgasm, until I give my clitoris a certain level of stimulation.

Masturbation and heterosexual penetration are equally satisfying, if my mood is right and I am prepared through foreplay.
